4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. Moroni 10:4-5

Day 73

Read: Helaman 11-12

Mark: Helaman 12:2-3

“Afflictions can soften us and sweeten us, and can be a chastening influence. We often think of chastening as something being done to punish us… Divine chastening, however, is a form of learning as it is administered at the hands of a loving Father.”
~ Elder Neal A. Maxwell

Why do you think it is so much easier to remember the Lord when we suffer, than when everything is going well? What can you do to remember the Lord even when times are good?

*Well when I am suffering and am in pain I want it to stop and for my life to be easy and good again.  There is a saying that "There are no atheist in the trenches." Meaning when you are faced with death you start praying.  I know that when my life is going super and wonderful my prayers are not as in depth.  I am working on that.  I need to be able to have the same relationship with Heavenly Father no matter how my life is.
