4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. Moroni 10:4-5

Day 56

Read: Alma 39-41

Mark: Alma 41:10

“You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible.”
President Ezra Taft Benson

Alma uses four chapters (39-42) to counsel his son Corianton to repent. How important is it to you to follow the counsel of your parents and other righteous priesthood leaders? Read Alma 36:20. During the time Alma was racked with torment for his sins whose words did he remember that caused him to cry out for forgiveness

*I have amazing parents who council me all the time. I was taught the gospel and how to live it.  I am sad to say I didn't always follow the example they set for me.  However they were ready and waiting with open arms when I did decide to "return to the fold".  As Alma did when he was racked with torment I too thought of my parents and their words when I wanted to come back.
