4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. Moroni 10:4-5

Day 59

Read: Alma 44-46

Mark: Alma 46:12

“The value of a country rests upon the values of its people. For the people of God, for the people who want peace, for their women and their children, there is only one way, one church and one Lord.”
~ Elder Charles Didier

Why do the wicked go to war? How are their motives different from the reasons why the righteous go to war?

*My Grandpa Carey was at Pearl Harbor when it was bombed by the Japanese.  We fought back so we would be safe, and so we would still have our freedom.  Japan wanted to dominate the US. They came over here with evil in their hearts and we fought for our country and for our freedom.  By getting involved in the war we were able to defeat the Nazi's and free millions of Jews.  We were blessed because we were trying to protect our people and free others.  Japan and Germany were defeated because they were led my men who chose to follow a darker side.  To listen to the whisperings of Satan.  I am not saying that every person who fought for the US was a "good or holy" man, but they fought for a righteous purpose.
